Sand and warning tape was laid to protect the cables from future excavations.

A Project on an industrial trading estate installing two 5kw HV cables and 8 fibre optic cables.

Plastic piping was laid before the cables were pulled through.

Dry lean concrete was then laid to provide a firm base for the tarmac.

The larger sections were concreted to stop any sinking due to the 40 tonne lorries on the estate.

The trench ran accross the front of several busy warehouses so steel plates were required to enable access.
