General Operative

 

Adamson Construction would not be the company it is today without the people who make the company tick. To be one of our general operatives we prefer you to have experience within the Construction industry but we will train you if you can demonstrate sufficient aptitude for the role. You should also be able to demonstrate your capability to work as part of a team and always ready to help the project to which you are assigned.

 

Trades person

 

To be a Trades person at Adamson Construction you will need a qualification demonstrating relevant training and experience within the construction industry in a similar capacity. You should also be able to demonstrate your capability to work as part of a team and in some cases lead the team on smaller projects.

 

Supervisor

 

This position requires someone who can lead a team and supervise the work of all personnel on the site, including colleagues and sub-contractors. You will need good experience within the construction industry and be able to carry out construction tasks yourself, as well as instruct people how to do it themselves. You should be able to motivate your team to carry out the project as efficiently and effectively as possible.

 

Project Manager

 

The varying nature of the projects that Adamson Construction carries out requires a project manager who is versatile and well organised to prioritise the work that needs to be done in the changing environment of the construction industry. You will need experience in a similar role and to demonstrate that you can apply the relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Building Regulations and Laws to each project that is under your control.
